4X250F/FG Eimac Tube Transmitting Radial Beam Tetrode 

The 4X250F/FG is a compact, forced air cooled, external-anode radial-beam tetrode with maximum plate dissipation ratings of 250 watts.  The 4X250F is capable of producing 390 watts of output power at frequencies up to 175 MHz and 225 watts at 500 MHz.  The 4X250F is a high-voltage heater version of the 4X250B and was designed for mobile and airborne service.  This tube has a low drive power requirement and is capable of producing up to 70 watts of output power with a plate supply of 500 volts, making them an excellent choice for mobile applications.
