Merchandise Returns Under Warranty or Damaged in Freight
Please be advised of our “Limited Warranty” policy when purchasing electronic parts and equipment. RF Parts Company inspects, and tests (if necessary), all products prior to shipping. If, for any reason you would like to return your purchase, please send an email to rfp@rfparts.com. If you have a valid reason for the return, you shall receive a "Return Merchandise Authorization" (RMA) number via email. An email will be sent to you when the product is received. The RMA number is valid for two weeks.
Returned Merchandise that is not covered under our Limited Warranty, may subject to a 20% restocking fee.
Books and Manuals are non-refundable.
Shipping charges may not be refundable, based on the reason for the return.
All products that are returned are subject to final evaluation by RF Parts Company. Returned items shall be processed in accordance with the most recent Returned Merchandise Policy at the time the return is received.
A copy of the purchase invoice should be included.
Please add Shipping Insurance to the Merchandise that is to be returned.
RF Parts Company cannot control the manner of use of its products after they are sold. Therefore, RFPC will not be responsible for any consequential or indirect damages due to misuse. Altered or Modified merchandise shall VOID the Warranty.
Shipping Damage:
If you receive a damaged shipping box, please refuse the shipment. If the carrier left the damaged package for you and you were not there to receive it, please inspect and photograph box and its contents and send them to rfp@rfparts.com. We shall file a claim and you can expect to hear from us by the following business day.
It is necessary for you to retain all packing material and outer cartons, labeling, etc., for inspection by the shipping company that will pick up your damaged box/merchandise. Without this, your claim may be denied.
Limited Warranty on Transistors & Modules:
RF Parts Company has a separate, Limited Warranty Policy, regarding our power transistors and modules that have been installed. In most cases, after installation, they are not covered under our Standard, Limited Warranty. Modules and transistors are tested under load and SWR by the OEM factory and by our Engineering Staff, to OEM Specifications.
Limited Warranty on Receiving & Special Purpose Tubes:
TV, SWEEP-TYPE receiving tubes are not designed, rated, guaranteed or warranted by the manufacturer or RF Parts Co., for use in linear amplifiers. Please be sure the tubes you received are correct for your equipment. We do not warranty or guarantee suitability or reliability of any sweep tube used as an RF amplifier. 6146B and 6146W carry a one year limited transmitter tube warranty, and 6JB6 and 6JS6C carry a 90 day limited warranty when used in transceivers.
Tubes that are returned for possible warranty issues are subject to our technical analysis, to determine if claim can be covered by the factory's limited warranty. Tubes which, in our opinion, show evidence of excessive dissipation, low emissions, wear, or other damage indicating improper operation or excessive use, will likely not be accepted for warranty or exchange. Any tube not accepted for warranty or exchange will not be returned unless requested by customer who shall pay shipping charged to return same. The Limited Warranty period begins at receipt of tubes.
Limited Warranty on Transmitting Tubes:
When TUBES are returned that may qualify for a Warranty Refund or a Replacement, a detailed Tube Service Report Form must be included.
The "Taylor Tubes" and the"RF Parts Company" tubes that were manufactured in China, have a One Year Limited Warranty based on the date of Purchase. There are exceptions however, so please check with the Sales Associate.
RFP and Taylor 3-500ZG carries a 1 year, Limited Warranty. The Taylor 572B & 811A carry 1 year limited warranty. The Taylor 833A/C and 4-400C have a 1 year prorated Limited Transmitter tube warranty. New Old Stock (NOS) denote new tubes with older date codes, guaranteed in new condition and carry a 90 day limited warranty against manufacturing defects unless otherwise indicated.
(-P) denotes tubes removed from working equipment. Most tubes are from military transmitters and look and test as new (new tubes with no hours). We test all tubes and include a 90 day limited warranty against manufacturing defects.
Warranty Note:
All foreign tube sales and warranty claims are subject to pre-approval for warranty coverage or exchange.- our export customers may be subject to pay for transportation costs ‘’to’’ and ‘’from’’ their location to have rf parts company do a repair , replace, or credit any items sent to us here in the usa. rf parts company will advise you in advance – please ask your sales / service advisor.
Warranties on product sold and shipped within the usa are normally covered at no charge for freight AND MAY BE EXEMPT FROM THESE TERMS AND CONDITIONS.
All tubes / product returned will be retested and inspected for proper usage. RF PARTS does have the right to repair, replace or deny any returned product at our discretion. Any tube product returned, which we feel is in good working order may not necessarily be replaced, but rather will be RETESTED and CONFIRMED to be in good working order and returned to customer as is.
NOTE: warranty “replacement” parts (when “Matched Parts” are sold) are usually always matched up (when ever possible) to the “original” product, in order to conform to our matching guidelines. Ask your Sales Associate for more details on this.
Manufacturer has final say on returned goods. Product must meet terms and conditions as stated in our catalog.
Warranty for Metal Ceramic Transmitting Tubes & Sockets:
If a product fails during the first 10% of the operational hours due to faulty workmanship or material, it will be replaced or credited at 100% of original purchase price. If failure occurs during the remaining 90% of the warranty hours, a prorated adjustment will be calculated, and a credit will be issued towards the price of a new tube.
NOTE: When returning merchandise, please place the original package inside of a shipping carton. Do not use the original container as a shipping carton. Write the Return Authorization Number on the outside of the box. Items returned without Return Authorization on outside of box may get rejected upon arrival. The box must have an RMA number written on it.
Damaged Box At the time of delivery, if the box is obviously damaged, note this with the driver and refuse shipment. This item will be returned to us and another will be sent at no additional charge.
Hidden Damage If hidden damage is noted (when box is opened), contact UPS as soon as possible. Save box and all packing. UPS will pickup the box/parts. Once the item is received by us, a replacement will be sent.
